Residential New Construction
ALL CT ZERO ENERGY CHALLENGE HOMES PARTICIPATE IN THIS PROGRAM — AND YOU CAN TOO!
Homeowners can build the home of their dreams while earning incentives for energy efficient construction and geothermal heat pumps. This program will help homeowners achieve the greatest level of energy efficiency by using reliable, advanced building techniques and high-quality materials.

Home Energy Solutions (HES)
This in-home service, available for all residential customers, provides energy-saving services including advanced weatherization and duct sealing. For a small co-pay, participants receive an average of $1,000 in products and services to lower energy bills and increase home comfort. The program also offers low interest financing with on bill payment for additional energy-saving measures. Income eligible customers at or below 60% of Connecticut state median income may be eligible to participate at no cost.

ENERGY STAR® Retail Products
From LED lighting to appliances, ENERGY STAR certified products offer energy-savings without sacrificing performance or design. Look for the Energize Connecticut logo where you shop for lighting to ensure your new bulb is discounted and ENERGY STAR certified. Compare appliances and redeem rebates using the Efficient Product Finder.

This is a flexible program designed to help meet the diverse needs of multi-family projects. Offerings are customized and can include both electric and natural gas measures.

Energize CT Center
An energy resource center and hands-on learning laboratory for children, the Energize Connecticut Center offers educational tours, seminars, special events, and the latest energy efficiency and renewable technologies; all focused on teaching Connecticut residents and businesses how to use energy wisely without sacrificing comfort or style.
