Green Planet Options assists individuals, non-profit organizations, municipalities, government agencies, developers and businesses in planning and funding energy efficiency improvements, renewable energy systems and LEED certified design for their new and existing buildings. Christopher Widmer, the founder and president of Green Planet Options, is a Connecticut licensed architect and a LEED Accredited Professional who has been practicing sustainable architecture and solar design for over 25 years in Pennsylvania and Connecticut. The Guilford Housing Authority owns and maintains 122 units of housing for the elderly and disabled on three sites throughout the town. The Housing Authority’s mission is to provide affordable housing for people whose annual income is below 80% of the area median income.

Connecticut’s Energy Efficiency Programs are funded by a charge on customer energy bills. The Programs are designed to help customers manage their energy usage and cost.
