The Crawford Residence is being built to meet ICC 2008 National Green Build Standards. This project is taking a whole house integrated approach in design using advanced insulation techniques, .29 U value windows, solar orientation, proper site selection, rain gardens, ground source heat pump technology, ERV ventilation, and ENERGY STAR® appliances and lighting. These features are blended while maintaining the style and convenience details of the Crawford family. With the addition of PV and solar hot water this home will be close to the zero energy bench mark.
